Despite their proximity and ease of access to the city, Chowder Bay is quiet and peaceful. You?ll love the facility not only because of its superb location but also the Building's ability to accommodate large groups with ease - perfect for school groups, family reunions (with kids) and any other organised group of 16 or more. Their space has two levels with a total of 13 rooms and four bathrooms. Rooms are divided over two levels of the building, with a large communal bathroom servicing each level. The fascination of the animal as both subject and inspiration has inspired a new exhibition at Mosman Art Gallery for spring 2016. Presented in tandem with celebrations of the 100th Anniversary of Sydney?s Taronga Zoo, WildThing considers the relationship between humans and animals and nature, and understanding of the species. Social and ethical issues are explored through the work of twenty-five leading Australian artists. Animals are constructed, painted, etched, filmed and photographed, set in hybrid worlds. Humour, pathos, melancholy and beauty all on display. WildThing taps into imaginations and fears as it seeks to open contemporary dialogue on human relationships with domestic creatures; attitudes of the wild and untamed and to concerns of species loss and ecological degradation.
