Held on the first Sunday of every month, this Aboriginal festival of song, dance and food features a wide range of authentic Aboriginal stalls as well as workshops such as spear-making, shellwork and bush-tucker cooking. There will also be 'Catch and Cook Kids' fishing in the afternoon.
Stalls at the markets include Aboriginal designed clothes, jewellery, artwork, dream catchers, bush tucker foods, spices and paintings.
The program is part of a new social enterprise aimed at injecting funds into local Aboriginal communities, and providing Sydney with the opportunity to learn ancient skills and crafts direct from traditional Aboriginal teachers.
