Milani Trout Cottages is a popular holiday destination for couples or families who enjoy the outdoors and nature. Milani is ideal for trout fishers, birdwatchers, bush walkers and those looking for a peaceful escape from the pressures of everyday life. Visitors can fish for rainbow trout in the six kilometres of stream, bush walk the 8000 acres of untouched bush and farm land, bird watch or wildflower spot, or just sit and watch as platypus play in your own secluded stretch of stream. Self-guided or guided educational walks, with or without catering, are available to meet individual interests. Walks are graded from easy to challenging and the kids can learn some bush cooking skills along the way.
Photographers and artists find much inspiration in the tranquil, quiet bush scenery at Milani.
Milani has two self-contained cabins overlooking Laura Creek, each catering for up to five people, and a self-contained cottage with three twin rooms as well as a barbeque and campfire facilities. If you want just a touch more pampering try the homestead Dinner Bed and Breakfast.
Milani is a five hour drive from Brisbane or seven hours drive from Sydney.
