Situated in Mittagong, the heritage listed Fitzroy Inn is one of the oldest surviving Inns in New South Wales.
Built in 1836, the Inn was formerly a staging post for transporting convicts to Berrima Gaol. Its dungeons have been preserved, but today, guests stay in the elegant king or queen rooms all with private en suite facilities.
Set amidst five acres of manicured gardens, the property has been extensively restored and offers guests a unique haven in the heart of the Southern Highlands, filled with the charm, character and colour.
There is a gourmet dining room for residents and outside guests, offering sumptuous menus in keeping with the seasons and fine, five course degustation options with local wines to match.
An ideal base from which to explore the beautiful Southern Highlands, play golf, shop antiques, or just relax and recharge.
Weddings and conferences are also tailored to suit requirements....
