Eulo Town Hole

The Eulo Town Hole is a fantastic fishing area in South West Queensland. Head west from Eulo on the Adventure Way and cross the Paroo River Bridge. The Eulo Town Hole features nature walks and heritage trails and is a leisurely stroll from the township. The banks are lined with Yapunyah and Coolibah Trees. Expect to catch yellowbelly and cat fish in this area....

Eulo Five Mile Waterhole

The Five Mile Waterhole at Eulo is the perfect spot to throw a line in and catch Yellowbelly, Catfish and Yabbies. The area has good camping and you can bring your pets along too. Not interested in fishing - well don't despair why not take a bit of a bushwalk or do some birdwatching. The Waterhole has a coolibah lined bank along the Paroo River. You will find the Eulo Five Mile Waterhole on the Eulo Hungerford Road. When you pass the 'Springvale' mailbox - turn left and head down the fence line. Mud Springs

The Mud Springs are located nine kilometres west of Eulo. The mud springs have evolved due to the underground pressure from the Great Artesian Basin, forcing mud through fissures in the ground. The mud springs are centuries old. Since the sinking of bores the pressure has lessened and many of the mud springs are no longer active. The mound is quite hard on top and sounds hollow if you jump on it....

Lizard Lounge

The Eulo Lizard Lounge is a picnic area on the eastern entrance to Eulo. It is designed to represent the frilled neck lizard. Eulo was home of the Cunnamulla / Eulo Lizard Races for 35 years and the lizard has been adopted as a symbol of Eulo. The lounge is made from galvanised iron walls which have been painted by local artist Peta Warner. Peta is also the designer of the Lizard Lounge....
