Built in classic alpine style and with a large car parking space for easy access, Wallace's sleeps up to seven people comfortably; offering one double bedroom, one double and single bunk, plus a separate loft with two trundle beds. The kitchen is newly renovated, with a dishwasher, gas cook-top, oven, microwave and appliances, including a Nespresso machine - bring your own pods. The lounge area has a plasma television, Blu-Ray DVD / CD / MP3 /iPod (5.1 home theatre), gas and wood heating, plus a collection of board games, DVDs and books. Wallace's bathroom has a shower, toilet and laundry facilities, and there is a separate toilet and downstairs drying area. A high-chair, port-a-cot with bassinet, and stair gate are available for use. Dinner Plain offers something for everybody all year round. The Snowgums 15 Apartment is a centrally heated, upmarket property, located near restaurants and the Snow Shuttlebus. It has two bedrooms, televisions in both, sleeping five people. The stunning bathroom has a shower and vanity basin. There is a separate toilet and vanity basin. Classy bedroom one has a double bed, wall mounted big screen television and space to chill out on the easy chairs. Bedroom two has a tri bed, double on the bottom and single over the top. It also has a wall mounted television. The state of the art full kitchen includes a dishwasher and coffee machine, so you can self cater or visit Dinner Plain's variety of eateries and restaurants. There is a formal dining area and luxury lounge which includes a gas log fire with a big screen television and DVD player. The large lounge is big enough for five people. It?s an at-your-own pace cycling challenge which takes you up winding mountain roads, around steep turns and past spectacular views right to the top of Victoria?s Alpine Resorts. Every time you ride one of the 7 Peaks, stop at the top and get a stamp in your 7 Peaks passport and enter the draw to win some amazing prizes. Climb out of Omeo past Cobungra Station on the Great Alpine Road, taking note to grab a breather at the Kosciuszko Lookout 20 kilometres along the way. The climb is steep to start; a 400 metre ascent followed by undulating road and another long steep climb from the Victoria River to the alpine plateau. Climb through the changing landscape of alpine ash, snowgum forest and heathland. Only 12 kilometres from Hotham, picturesque Dinner Plain village is a top spot to stop. Cloud 9 Alpine Lodge is a fully-hosted boutique overnight accommodation guest lodge located in the beautiful alpine village of Dinner Plain in North East Victoria. Situated at nearly 1,600 metres above sea level adjacent to the Alpine National Park, the lodge has five guest bedrooms serviced by three guest bathrooms. Guest bedrooms are furnished with split king beds - enabling either twin-share or double/single occupancy. Guests are able to use the upstairs lounge and sun-decks - with an open log fire, cable television and free WiFi. An expansive continental breakfast is provided each morning between 7:00am and 9:00am in the lodge's upstairs dining area and is included in the nightly tariff. A cooked-to-order hot breakfast is also available within the nightly tariff. Our lodge is an ideal venue for single travellers or couples as we don't cater for either children or pets within our home. Complimentary on-site parking is available for each guest room.
