While toilets and free gas barbecues are provided, there is no shower or electricity and visitors must bring their own water and firewood for this rustic river escape in the Kerry Valley. Arts In The Olives

3161 Kerry Road, Darlington QLD 4285
Rob and Sue Overell were picking olives in their Lost World Valley grove with friends when someone commented: ?We need a jazz band in the corner.? This flippant comment was the catalyst for the now popular Art in the Olives Festival, which is held every Mother?s Day. The olive grove is transformed into a vibrant hub for music, arts, food and relaxation. The central activities are arts workshops conducted by experts which allow the general public to have an affordable artistic experience in a chosen discipline. The accompanying Arts Market offers beautiful handmade goods for sale under the shade of the olive trees, as well as delicious gourmet food and tastings of local wine. The venue will again be the pretty Worendo olive grove where the headwaters of the Albert River that run through it, tell their own story. So, to discover more information, you can check out the website and take it from there....
