The Captains Flat Country Markets are friendly, relaxed markets held the first Saturday of each month (except January and this April when Easter Saturday falls on the same date) selling craft, homemade jewellery, local produce, handcrafted timber goods, plants, homemade cakes, slices biscuits, pre-loved goods, and much more. The Markets' Cafe provides fresh tea and real coffee and various community groups provide a barbecue. The Captains Flat Country Markets are run by the Captains Flat Community Association (CFCA - a not-for-profit organisation), for the benefit of the local community. Funds raised go towards supporting a variety of community initiatives.
