The accommodation comprises of an 1850's homestead, converted stables and a original 1850's outhouse all currently undergoing extensive renovations to restore its rich history. Blackhorse Park's idyllic central location is just 20 minutes to Mt Buller, ten minutes to Goughs Bay, 15 minutes to the Mansfield township, 15 minutes to Macs Cove, Howqua Inlet and Jamieson. Blackhorse Park is a year round holiday location. The area caters for snow skiing / snowboarding at Mt Buller; fly fishing at the Delatite River (just two minutes away); boating and fishing at Goughs Bay / Eildon; horse riding in Mansfield State Forest / Victorian High Country; mountain biking / cycling on the rail trail and Mt Buller; four wheel driving; golfing at the Mansfield Golf Club; lunching, wining dining and relaxing, walking and nature loving. Watson's Mountain Country Trail Rides offer horse riding in the high country that leaves from a family farm located three hours north east of Melbourne near the town of Mansfield.
