Blackbird Flat Camping Ground is situated on the road from Kempsey to Armidale. It is a free camping area located beside the Macleay River. Tank water is available but bring drinking water. Pit toilets, shelter shed and covered wood barbecue area. Enjoy fishing, swimming, canoeing, picnicking, four wheel driving and walking. Pet friendly. Not suitable for caravans, towing or large vehicles due to road conditions and restrictions. Access is via Kempsey Armidale Road which becomes a dirt single lane road at Pee Dee, North West of Bellbrook....
