Lake Nillahcootie Camp nestles between the Mount Strathbogie State Forest and Mount Samaria State Park. The camp has a shoreline frontage and is entered directly from the Midland Highway. Just 15 minutes from Mansfield and 25 minutes from Benalla, Lake Nillahcootie Camp is an easy two hour drive from eastern Melbourne. The Camp has been in operation for the past 25 years and is situated in one of the prettiest spots in the High Country. Close to the ski fields in the winter on the banks of picturesque (full of redfin) Lake Nillahcootie, from which the Camp in named after. The Camp is famous for its connections with school groups but also provides for private groups and functions. In addition to the camp facilities, commercial activity providers are available for hire in the area for sailing, skiing, horse riding and mountain biking. Transport can be arranged to and from the campsite and nearby venues. Lake Nillahcootie Camp staff have experience in working with people with disabilities. Full country style home catering is provided alongside kitchen facilities available for self catering.
