Gasworks Arts Park is a not for profit community arts facility located in Albert Park, that presents an annual program of events. This includes drama productions, workshops, farmers markets, events and visual art exhibitions. Gasworks Arts Park includes four hectares of park, two theatres, three gallery spaces, a cafe, resident artist studios and function/workshop spaces. Gasworks has 14 resident visual artists and a small but dedicated staff work to present an annual program of festivals and events including seasons with some of Melbourne's biggest arts festivals, farmers' markets, classes and workshops, creative and professional development opportunities for artists, children's programming and more. In addition, over 70 performing arts events and 40 visual arts exhibitions are presented in the venue each year....

Gasworks Farmers Market started in January 2006 and is one of Melbourne's best loved farmers markets - in fact, it was named Most Outstanding Farmers Market for 2012 in the delicious Produce Awards. This Victorian Farmers' Markets Association accredited market offers fabulous seasonal produce from local growers in a beautiful parkland setting. Gasworks Arts Park is a diverse arts precinct that is sited within the remaining walls of the South Melbourne gas production plant. The parklands are surrounded by artists' studios, theatres, galleries, cafe and workshops which are in constant use. MSAC FlowRider

The MSAC FlowRider combines techniques of surfing and bodyboarding with the ride of snowboarding and wakeboarding and the tricks of skateboarding - all atop a static wave of water. One of only three in Australia and the only one in Victoria, the MSAC FlowRider is something anyone can enjoy. Beginners will pick up bodyboarding almost instantly, or challenge themselves to master stand-up boarding with a little extra practice. However you choose to enjoy them, you will find the best waves year round right here at MSAC. The MSAC FlowRider is available for a variety of users including casual riders - turn up and flow with ride, day and afternoon passes available, memberships for regular riders of all levels and exclusive bookings for all occasions - birthday parties, corporate events or a fun time with mates. Please note there are minimum height restrictions for the FlowRider (body boarding 110 centimetres and flow boarding 140 centimetres). All riders are required to complete a declaration form and watch a safety video before using the MSAC FlowRider for the first time.
