The RACV Energy Breakthrough provides an opportunity for students, teachers, parents and local industry to work together to design and construct a vehicle, a machine or innovation in technology that will represent an energy breakthrough.
School groups work throughout the year to design, build and test vehicles or machines within detailed specifications. It requires a team effort and an across-the-curriculum approach. These groups then bring their vehicles and machines to Maryborough, Victoria in November, for a huge celebration in which they can demonstrate and trial them in action.
More than 5,000 student entrants converge on Maryborough, a further 3,000 will work as support crew and another 13,000 will be visitors to the event.
The Energy Expo is amongst the action of the RACV Energy Breakthrough and offers visitors and entrants the chance to relax and enjoy the festive atmosphere. The Energy Expo provides entertainment, fascinating energy efficient displays and opportunities for career advancement....
