The Sports Super Centre was built as a training base for international athletes competing in the 2000 Sydney Olympics and is now an official training venue for the upcoming Gold Coast Commonwealth Games. The centre's facilities are now used by the local community, holidaymakers, and travelling teams and groups from all over the world.
The centre offers comfortable, modern, three-star group accommodation. There are nine lodges with twin or quad rooms available to book individually, or as multiples for larger groups. One lodge can sleep up to 36 people, and altogether can accommodate groups of up to 292.
Lodges have 10 bedrooms in twin, quad and wheelchair access configurations. Each lodge has: coach / teacher ensuite rooms; common room with cable television; kitchenette for basic food preparation; and laundry with washer and dryer. The centre offers full dining and catering facilities; three-tier buffet menus, and function and event packages for 10 to 500 people.
The centre is in a great location for visiting theme parks, beaches, Surfers Paradise and outlet shopping at Harbour Town. Use their open-air gym, indoor/outdoor pools, track and fields, or join group exercise classes and activities (charges may apply)....
