The gardens are approximately seven kilometres from the city and cover a area of more than 52 squared kilometres. Entry is free and we are open every day, from April to August we close at five pm. Drop in to the Mt Cootha Cafe, Botanical and enjoy a relaxing breakfast, lunch or light refreshments on the open air deck overlooking the picturesque lake and gardens.
