For our younger Funfielders in 2016 we opened the Birdy Cove Waterplay area with complete with Tipping Bucket, 2 waterslides and plenty of squirts and splashes.
If slides is more your thing then you’re spoilt for choice at Funfields. The Blackout and Wipeout raft waterslides offer two exciting and very different experiences. Then there is the two Splashdown Waterslides and for the extreme thrill seekers our two newest attractions Typhoon and the Kraken Racer. Our Typhoon is the World’s Longest Pro Slide CannonBowl ride ever built and the Kraken Racer is a first for Australia!.
We haven’t forgotten about our younger Funfielders who can enjoy the Formula Fun Mini Go Karts, Cup & Saucer ride with a slithery twist, Burnout, Pony Xpress Carousel, the Berry Ferris Wheel and the Samba Balloon.

Yan Yean Reservoir Park offers visitors peaceful picnic areas, a variety of walking tracks and breathtaking views of Melbourne's oldest water storage. Visit the extensive wetlands and watch the abundant birdlife that lives and feeds in this area. Things to see and do - Walk along Melbourne's oldest dam wall for views of the park and reservoir - Enjoy a picnic lunch at the Lookout Picnic Area with views of the reservoir and surrounding woodlands - Visit the extensive wetlands and watch the abundant birdlife that lives and feeds in this area - Wood-fired barbecues (with wood supplied), two large rotundas and picnic tables are provided - The picnic area and playground near the valve house provide an opportunity for children to play safely Heritage The reservoir was Melbourne's first and has supplied the city with water since 1857. It was the plan of James Blackburn, a civil engineer who unfortunately died before ever seeing his dream developed. The Whittlesea Monday Market has become the meeting place for visitors and locals alike. It is a true market experience. Close to the city, with a country and community atmosphere. Whittlesea Monday Market are open every Monday, including public holidays - rain, hail or shine. Please note: The Market will be closed on ANZAC Day. Originally in Mernda, the Whittlesea Monday Market has been on the present site for almost four years and has around 120 plus stalls selling a wide range of products from fresh fruit and vegetables, plants and gardening advice, artisan breads, honey, eggs, clothing, work wear, tools, stock feeds and farm supplies, antiques and vintage collectables, electrical goods and the list goes on and on. Everyone needs a snack whilst shopping, with the market offering a wide variety of food choices plus of course, a much needed coffee. Kids activities on school and public holidays. Free parking. Enjoy the theatre of the live auction - commencing at 9am. The Lyrebird Circuit is the first track off the Masons Falls walk that you will come across after leaving the picnic area. The circuit track is a 500 metre easy walk that loops around connecting to the Masons Falls track. Dotted along the circuit is information about the historical site of Carman’s Mill that once operated in that area and the local flora and fauna that call Kinglake National Park their home. If you follow on to the Masons Falls track, it will lead you to the viewing platform of Masons Falls. Masons Falls, located within Kinglake National Park, is home to native plant species of trees, fungi, undergrowth and many small insects and animals including lyrebirds - if you are lucky or quiet enough to see one....

Only 65 kilometres north of Melbourne, Kinglake National Park lies on the slopes of the Great Dividing Range, offering dramatic views of the Melbourne skyline, Port Phillip Bay, the Yarra Valley and across to the You Yangs. This is a good spot, not far from Melbourne, to go camping, enjoy a bushwalk or have a picnic. Since the intense 2009 fires in Kinglake National Park, many plants adapted to fire are flourishing. Funfields Theme Park offers a tantalising choice of both wet and dry rides. Rides include the Alpine Toboggan Slide, Go Karts, Pirate Ship, Bumper Boats and 18 Hole Mini Golf. If getting wet is more your style then you will be spoilt for choices. Head to Volcano Beach, Victoria's first outdoor heated wave pool. This monster pool has a capacity of over 1.5 million litres of heated water pumping out waves up to one metre high. The Park also features three World Record ProSlide Waterslides. Each of these slides, the Kraken Racer, Typhoon and Gravity Wave are the biggest and longest that ProSlide have built anywhere in the World. There is also the two Splashdown inground mat waterslides and two incredible raft waterslides Blackout and Wipeout. New for 2019 - Mystic Kingdom (formerly KidZone) is now open and features some cool new rides including the Dragons Revenge.
