The museum has a collection of trams from Sydney and also other Australian cities and some from overseas. Currently, on loan from the PowerHouse Museum is tram 805 which is generally on display in the Display Hall. The museum is an ideal place for grandparents to take their grandchildren and regale them with their tram-riding stories.
Trams to The Royal National Park run hourly from the museum on Sundays & most Public Holidays from 10.15am until 4.15pm and from R.N.P. 15 minutes later. On Wednesdays and extra school holiday weekdays it is hourly from 10.15am until 2.15pm; return journey 15 minutes later. Trams also run north towards Sutherland.

Car parks can be easily accessed from Roselands Drive, Violet Street, Diana Avenue and Martin Street.
Pedestrian access to the Centre is via entries on Roselands Avenue and Violet Street.
