The caravan park sites and campsites at Eldee Station Caravan and Campsites come both powered and unpowered. They also have grassed sites and bush sites for camping and setting up your caravan. All the sites except for the bush camp sites are close to the camp kitchen, bathroom and laundry facilities. These sites are some have some of the best views of the Mundi Mundi Plains and the Barrier. They allow small generators in the caravan parks that are quiet to run. There are views of the spectacular sunset on the Barrier Ranges every day where you can watch the Ranges change from blue hues through to deep purple hues....

Historic Daydream Mine was founded in 1881, before the beginning of the Broken Hill Mining Company (BHP). The mine is just a 30 minute drive from Broken Hill. Drive through some of Australia's great outback scenery into Apollyon Valley then take a one hour fully-guided underground and surface tour of the old mine workings to see how this mine once operated, mined by Cornish men and boys sorting the silver - some as young as eight years old. Devonshire teas, cold drinks and souvenirs are available. Sturdy footwear is essential in accordance with the Department of Mines Safety Act. No EFTPOS or credit card facilities available. If you're after some country-style cooking while in Silverton, just look for the sign that says Cafe. Originally a house built in the late 1880s, Brian and Margaret Edwards renovated the premises of the Silverton Tea Rooms to create the cafe. The menu is a slice of home-style living, including everything from light snacks through to hearty meals. If you're in the mood, they're also licensed. There's still a lot to see even if you're not hungry. The home's main rooms are filled with antique dolls made as early as 1869 and as recently as the 1950s. Other memorabilia is also on show and a range of old bottles are for sale....
