Fountaindale Grand Manor has been a Southern Highlands icon since the 1920s when the impressive building was built atop a hill, one of the most luxurious hotels of its time. From its elevated position, it commands breathtaking views of the valleys below, all the way to the ocean. The Manor has been modernised with comforts of the 21st century, although retaining its original style and charm. You will still see the open wood fires burning in the colder months adding warmth and ambience to the building, and in the warmer months, drinks and afternoon tea can be served on the lawn so you can enjoy the beautifully landscaped gardens.

Robertson Yurt/Roundhouse Eco-Retreat is unique, rustic and natural. A large, 8.4 metre (with two annexes) Western Red Cedar, Yurt/Roundhouse which is a permanent home built by Yurts. One Queen bed in bedroom, and two single fold out beds available for the lounge room. Wood heater to warm both the Yurt and for you to stare into and be warmed. Relax inside whilst watching the natural world outside the north facing windows or sit on an old church pew on the front veranda annex, or on the veranda of the sunroom annex and enjoy the ambience of this very unique Yurt in a mystical environment. Look up to the beautiful timber ceiling and watch as day turns into night through the many glass windows in the cupola. Khangai has been lovingly created with total environmental awareness and will continue to be nurtured naturally. Come, relax in a beautiful environment.

It's time to taste a real potato and 'the green heart of the Highlands' is just the place to find locally grown Robo Spuds. Its rich red fertile soil provides an abundance of rural farmland and a green hue through its hills and dales. Famous as the town were the film Babe was made. Situated at the top of Macquarie Pass amid rolling green hills, Robertson is 128 kilometres south of Sydney and a favourite stop for travellers making a loop drive through the Southern Highlands and Illawarra. Robertson and its environs have several retreats and bed and breakfasts, many with an outstanding historic flavour. Visit the Old Cheese Factory, stop for a photo at the Big Potato, a tribute to the town's agricultural heritage, and the Robertson Pie Shop, famous for its savoury and sweet pies....

The Cottage at White Birch Farm is a charming sunny and cosy retreat, set on a beautiful 25 acre hobby farm in the NSW Southern Highlands. It is fully self contained. The Cottage is north facing, with stunning rural views from every sun-filled window, all the way to the Blue Mountains.There are two bedrooms, sleeping four people in total. Bedroom one is a queen bed, bedroom two has two king single beds.Tariff includes all linen, towels, bedding, tea and coffee and free wifi. Reverse cycle air conditioning is in the living room and there are oil heaters and electric blankets in the bedrooms.There is a flat screen 3D TV in the lounge, and DVDs, books and games are provided. The well equipped kitchen includes an electric stove, oven, fridge/freezer, microwave and cooking utensils. A gas BBQ is on the verandah. The cottage is on town water supply. The rumpus room underneath has a table tennis table, washing machine and dryer.The building is nestled in three acres of beautiful old established gardens including Japanese maples, magnolias, rhododendrons, azaleas and hundreds of bulbs.Our pastures support 13 friendly sheep, two alpacas, three donkeys and some cattle. They all have names! We have also recorded 70 species of birds on the property. Our farm includes a unique 12 acre rainforest with an informative signposted walk you are welcome to explore. We have recently planted an arboretum and are in the process of establishing a Japanese garden.We have a large studio that was recently used by Australia?s greatest living artist John Olsen, to paint his biggest work since the Sydney Opera House mural ? so why not bring your easel and spend a week painting on our beautiful country property (by prior arrangement only). Also ideal for musicians to rehearse (classical not rock! we don?t want to scare the animals!).
