They are just 1.5 kilometres from the centre of Manilla and a short drive from Tamworth and Gunnedah. Relax in the rotunda next to the pond, or take a refreshing dip in the lovely pool. Birdlife abounds, plus even the occasional wallaby, echidna and possum. Take a stroll down to the river, or if you're feeling adventurous, try paragliding or hang-gliding from nearby Mt Borah. Your hosts are glider pilots too, and can take you for a flight in a two-seater if you fancy seeing this beautiful location from above. Single, twin, en suite and family rooms available. It lies next to the Bundarra-Barraba Important Bird Area which is important for the conservation of the endangered Regent Honeyeater. Manilla is also well known for Split Rock Dam on the Manilla River and Lake Keepit on the Namoi River.We especially enjoy entertaining glider pilots of all disciplines - both of us are experienced paragliding, hang-gliding and sailplane pilots and can help out if you would like to fly in the local area.
