The annual Corryong Campdraft is being at the Corryong Recreation Reserve. With the event incorporating the Brian Scammell Memorial Encouragement draft, Maiden Draft, Ladies Draft, Open Draft for both Novice and Opens, Mick Wheeler Memorial Novice Draft, Col Sheather Memorial Junior Draft, Chum Wheeler Memorial Juvenile Draft and the Smoky Dawson Open Draft, there are plenty of events for all to enjoy. The Corryong Campdraft is affiliated with the Southern Campdraft Association and is run under the SCA rules. 60 per cent payment on events. $10 cattle levy included in each entry fee. Camping is available in the Recreation Reserve over the weekend. Office and bar open at 3:30pm on Friday with meals available from 7:00pm. Gold coin donation appreciated for meals. Sportsview is an early 1900s red brick house, one of the first in Corryong. The house is within easy walking distance of the centre of Corryong and perfectly located for any events taking place at the sports/showground. Sportsview now beautifully renovated has three bedrooms, two of which are queen sized and the third is a double. All bedrooms have wardrobe space and linen and towels are provided. The living room has a small television and DVD player. The kitchen is fully equipped for self catering. Continental breakfast, assorted teas, coffee, hot chocolate, milk, sugar and snacks are provided. The house has reverse cycle heating/air conditioning. There is one main bathroom with shower and toilet and a second toilet outside. The laundry has washer, dryer, iron and board.
