Nestled amongst the majestic, ancient red gum trees you can experience the peace and solitude of South Mokanger Farm Cottages, a pet-friendly farm stay on the southern edge of the renowned Grampians National Park. Both fully self-contained and generously appointed with cosy wood fires, outdoor furniture and barbecue's. South Mokanger Farm Cottages are centrally located for visiting wineries, Dunkeld, the coast and Grampians mountain exploring. Stoneycroft Cottage was built in 1864 by Scottish stonemasons from stone found on the property. It has a big open fire and two bedrooms sleeping six. Very romantic. Adjoining this cottage there are the shearers quarters that have an extra five bedrooms and sleep 10. Ideal for small groups or family reunions. Mountain Duck Cottage has an open plan sitting/room kitchen with four bedrooms and sleeps nine. This cottage has air conditioning, a wood fire and fans. South Mokanger Farm Cottages welcomes you with local wine and chocolates....

Come along and celebrate a local community fair at the Cavendish Fleece and Flower Show, with numerous displays of local flowers, floral art, art and craft, beautiful needlework, cookery, profuse, photography and most of all local fleeces from regional properties. Primary school and kindergarten art and project displays will help celebrate local achievements throughout the community. Barbecue dinner from 6.00pm will also be available....
