The Pumphouse Camping Ground was officially opened at Binnaway's Big Weekend in February, 2010. The budget camping grounds are set by the banks of the Castlereagh River in Binnaway. Toilet and shower facilities (disabled access) are open 24 hours a day for a minimal cost. There are coin-operated hot showers (five minute duration), plenty of shady unpowered camping spots, along with eight powered sites available for a small fee. Water connection is available on powered sites. Set up and relax in this charming country village and throw some locally produced beef or lamb on the electric barbecues provided....

The Binnaway Rail Heritage Barracks have been recently refurbished into budget accommodation with shared facilities. The accommodation has 11 air conditioned twin share rooms. All linen is supplied. The property features a shared kitchen and lounge room. A dining room with television is also provided for guests. Light breakfast provisions are included in your tariff.
